Staffing

As our main aim is to provide children with the best quality care, we employ extra staff to help provide one-to-one interactions with children.
According to regulations, the staff ratio for attending children are as follows:
1 primary caregiver: 5 children (0-2 years)
1 primary caregiver: 8 children (2-3 years)
1 primary caregiver: 10 children (3-5 years)
Our centres are privately owned, however the day-to-day management of activities are delegated to the Centre Authorised Supervisor.
Staff have a vital role to play, if the service is to run effectively and provide high quality care. It is essential that our staff meet the following criteria:
Experience/qualifications in working with children aged 0-6 years
An interest and desire to work with children
An ability to communicate with adults and children
A commitment and understanding of equal opportunities
All staff are motivated and dedicated to the welfare of children.
Staff are supported in furthering their education and training. They are also encouraged to attend workshops and in-service training to keep abreast of relevant issues
Our reliable and valued casual/relief staff ensure that our day runs with a minimum of disruption. They provide breaks for primary caregivers, relieve staff who are ill or those whom are on holiday leave.
