| As our main aim is to provide children with the best quality care, we employ extra staff to help provide one-to-one interactions with children. |
| According to regulations, the staff ratio for attending children are as follows: |
1 primary caregiver: 5 children (0-2 years) |
1 primary caregiver: 8 children (2-3 years) |
1 primary caregiver: 10 children (3-5 years) |
| Our centres are privately owned, however the day-to-day management of activities are delegated to the Centre Authorised Supervisor. |
| Staff have a vital role to play, if the service is to run effectively and provide high quality care. It is essential that our staff meet the following criteria: |
Experience/qualifications in working with children aged 0-6 years |
An interest and desire to work with children |
An ability to communicate with adults and children |
A commitment and understanding of equal opportunities |
All staff are motivated and dedicated to the welfare of children. |
Staff are supported in furthering their education and training. They are also encouraged to attend workshops and in-service training to keep abreast of relevant issues |
| Our reliable and valued casual/relief staff ensure that our day runs with a minimum of disruption. They provide breaks for primary caregivers, relieve staff who are ill or those whom are on holiday leave. |
